Kay has been teaching Stumpwork professionally for the last 10 years. Her website is dedicated to those who take part in this fascinating form of embroidery which incorporates a lot of needlelace. You can also purchase all of those hard to find materials for needlelace and stumpwork as well as learning about both. Kay has two books published by the well known craft book publisher Search Press.
Doreen Holmes Doreen has been developing and teaching Needlelace for many years. She is a founder member of the Guild of Needle Laces and currently a committee member. She has three books published by the crafts publisher Batsford. Doreen teaches many forms of embroidery including needlelace. North Downs Lacemakers North Downs Lacemakers was set up in 1980 by a group of local
lacemakers, initially meeting in members' homes, and took its name
from the area in which they met. As the group expanded other
premises were used. The Fritillary was chosen as the group’s logo,
