The Guild Challenge
Each year a different design is offered to members, which they may work
in their own way. There is freedom of choice, style, size, colour and
complexity of technique.
Beginners may take it to their class to seek advice and guidance, the
more experienced may use the opportunity to indulge their fantasies.
The completed pieces will be on show at the Lace Day/AGM in October.
This produces a fascinating array showing the great variety of
techniques and the versatility of needle lace. Many members feel more
encouraged to participate, as this is not a competition of judged work
but a look into the interpretation of a given design.
You can change the size of the design but you must not delete any part.
Come on have a go. Maybe you have never thought of doing a similar
design so it will be a CHALLENGE.
